Cruise along by the narrow canals near the Finishing Point and enjoy the natural ambiance by staying in any of the houseboats. These traditional houseboats called Kettuvallam are made of wood, and are designed with a lounge area, a bedroom and a kitchen. Guests are greeted with the traditional welcome drink of tender coconut, and can also enjoy the taste of Southern hospitality with traditional vegetarian cuisine, including fish preparations for the non-vegetarians. Guests can check-out at 9.30a.m. Guests can enjoy a southern treat with a fixed menu, offering typical Kerala cuisine. Pure vegetarian dishes, dishes with less spice for European guest, and North-Indian delights are served to the guests. Guest can also buy fresh Prawns, Crabs or any fresh fish during their cruise from the fishermen, and the chef will prepare it for the guest according to their taste without any additional charges.
Day 1 Arrival in Cochin I Munnar (135km/4 hours)
After arriving in Cochin, drive to Munnar and reach by afternoon. Check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Munnar
After a hearty breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.(Eravikulam National Park is shut from 15 Jan to 15 Mar; during these dates Park visit cannot be done but all other sightseeing shall be provided as per itinerary).
Day 3 Munnar – Alleppey (180 Km/ 5 hours)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Alleppey and reach by afternoon. Check into the Houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the houseboat.
Day 4 Alleppey – Cochin (95 km/2.5 hours)
After a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Cochin and transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
